New line provides unparalleled sound quality for larger spaces within the enterprise; rounds out portfolio of high-performance speakers
Orlando, FL – June 14, 2017 – Crestron, the global leader in enterprise AV solutions, introduced today their new Vector performance loudspeakers, which are specifically designed for use in large commercial spaces, such as auditoriums, lecture halls, and divisible rooms. Vector is a comprehensive line of loudspeakers, starting with a 6” coaxial up to 12” and 15” models, and even includes dual 18” subwoofers for high-impact systems. They feature an innovative coaxial transducer design that delivers optimal sound, clarity, and intelligibility for speech reinforcement and media reproduction in enterprise environments. Crestron is demonstrating the new loudspeakers at InfoComm 2017 in Audio Demo Room 225AB, and displaying them in Booth 1900.
The transducer in Vector performance loudspeakers represents a revolutionary advancement in coaxial speaker design. Its large titanium diaphragm compression driver allows for smoother transition to the woofer providing better high/low alignment, smoother beamwidth performance and increased sound pressure levels without distortion. The compact high-frequency horn design reduces shadowing to produce incredibly clear and dynamic sound for both voice and music. Co-located high and low drivers results in less crossover interaction within the coverage pattern and provides ultra-smooth response.
“Expanding on our extensive line of architectural speakers, our new Vector performance loudspeakers are designed specifically for larger spaces in commercial applications,” said Dennis Fink, Technology Manager, Professional Audio at Crestron. “Vector loudspeakers are designed for optimal sound quality and intelligibility as part of our complete Enterprise Audio Solutions.”
Vector performance loudspeakers are designed to work with Avia™ DSPs and Avia Audio Tool. Vector performance loudspeakers leverage the precision signal processing within Avia DSPs, greatly reducing harsh-sounding resonances and sound coloration caused by horn reflections while retaining nuances of the original signal. The result is an extremely natural sounding room system with superior pattern control, higher gain before feedback, and improved intelligibility.
