March 30, 2022 - Unless you’ve been away on a long vacation, you are probably aware of the growing prevalence of LED in the display world. Draper designs and manufactures AV mounts and structures to make the most of this innovative, flexible technology and allow you to do almost anything your imagination can come up with.
Here are a few photo examples of recent custom projects where our AVMS team came up with solutions tailored to specific applications.
For this casino project Draper designed two curved videowalls to wrap around a bar area. Patrons can watch games, see the latest odds, and more with multiple inputs to these LED walls.
These four 16-foot by 9-foot Tailored faceted video walls use Planar TVF cabinets. The challenge here was more difficult than usual because the videowalls are placed on the upper level of a two-story circular lecture hall, with no floor support available. In addition, the Draper structure needed enough adjustability to overcome differences between the architect’s plans and the actual dimensions.
This massive, 26 x 26-foot narrow pixel pitch LED video wall provides a precise and rigid mounting surface for the Planar® DirectLight® X LED panels. It also accommodates other trades, allows the building’s air return to flow behind the wall on each side, and supports 4 by 8-foot sheets of granite beneath the LEDs.
Retail is a burgeoning market for LED. The flashy tech captures consumer attention, promotes new or sale items, and even provides wayfinding. This wavy wall needed to be moveable so maintenance could take place behind the panels.
This digital fishbowl looks totally custom, but it is actually an installation featuring our Foundation Mount System. What allows us to turn a custom job into a standard project is our mitered corner design.
