The HALO-HCP extends HDCP compliant HDMI® signals via a flexible, plenum rated, Active Optical hybrid cable assembly. Utilizing active circuitry in the permanent HDMI connectors, HDMI signals with video resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz (18.0Gbps) can be transmitted on fixed length cables ranging from 5 meters up to 30 meters.
As a hybrid fiber optic cable, the DL-PHDM-M is immune to electromagnetic (EM) and radio frequency (RF) interference, which could degrade signal performance, and the signals on the cable will not interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment. The copper components inside this cable offer ultralow capacitance for better EDID/DDC communications than other HDMI AOC cables on the market. This will address and remove interoperability issues.
This cable line is directional, the cable is marked in 3 ways to show this. The TX head is Blue and should be plugged into the source. The RX head is white and should be plugged into the display. The heads are marked Source and Display. Also, a flag label is applied to the Display side. This cable offers high retention HDMI connectors. These connectors will provide 3 times the retention strength of standard HDMI cables. For best practices, if this cable is plugged into a passive junction like a pass through HDMI wall plate or panel connector, the associated patch cable on the opposite side must be 2 meters or less in length and of sufficient AWG size. Liberty recommends at least 28 AWG for wall to plate patching. If the patching Cable is active a power inserter may be required.
