Road Show Rolls into New Season

The Chief and Da-Lite Road Show have rolled on into week four of this year’s traveling tradeshow, the earliest start yet for the yearly adventure. The AV Road Show is our way of going directly to customers to demonstrate the latest product offerings.

Chief and Da-Lite are once again partnering for the effort. This year, some stops will also feature SANUS for the first time. More products meant acquiring a new, bigger truck with an updated look.

Tyrel Boehm has returned for another season as the Road Show Specialist. He will be driving the truck joined by regional Chief and Da-Lite sales reps. The first few weeks have covered Iowa, Nebraska and Colorado.

The truck carries a host of AV products for dealers, installers and salespeople to get hands on experience, including Chief’s video wall, menu board and monitor mounts, Da-Lite’s IDEA screen, ViewShare and multi-media lectern, and Sanus’ display mounts and furniture.

“With the feedback we received from past road show stops, we knew we had a service that our customers valued,” said Laurie Englert, Chief’s Vice President of Marketing. “Budgets may be tight to get to a trade show or many dealers just can’t find the time, so we figured why not bring the tradeshow to the dealer?”

A separate Road Show for Canada is also running concurrently with the U.S. show. Both teams will regularly post news, photos and tweets from the road.
