Powerful new toolkit makes it faster and easier for programmers to deliver validated luxury home automation systems with an extraordinary new user experience
Dallas, TX, October 15, 2015 – Crestron introduced today a robust new set of object-oriented tools for programmers of high-end home automation systems. The Home Elements toolkit streamlines set up of video distribution and customized controls that work seamlessly across Crestron Pyng™ and 3-Series® control platforms. It provides a template of pre-tested modules that form the building blocks of core functionality for most systems. As a result, it is now faster and easier for Crestron dealers to deliver a consistent and completely personalized luxury automation experience in every room and on every interface.
“The Home Elements toolkit is enormously beneficial to every Crestron dealer, CSP, and ultimately their customers. Now it’s much easier to deliver highly customized systems that integrate DigitalMedia™, Pyng technology, and virtually any third party technologies into a cohesive, ultra-reliable Crestron experience,” said Fred Bargetzi, CTO of Crestron. “Whether you started with Pyng and need to expand, or you’re configuring a 3-Series control system with advanced custom functionality, Home Elements reduces programming requirements while ensuring a spectacular user experience that includes intuitive dropdown and slide-out windows, and scrolling lists on all devices. ”
The Home Elements toolkit was developed in conjunction with Pyng technology to allow dealers to deliver the performance, scalability, and reliability of Crestron home automation without having to learn to use any new software. This frees up resources to focus on the more sophisticated, one-of-a-kind Crestron controls and IoT integration that require custom programming. Home Elements ties into VT Pro-e® to deliver a dynamic, intuitive, and consistent user experience across all TSW touch screens, iOS® devices, TSR-302 and MLX-3 remotes, and our latest Digital Graphics Engines.
