(Spiceland, Ind.) – May 2017 – Draper, a leading manufacturer of projection screens and projector and flat-panel display lifts, announces EchoControl, an innovative acoustical treatment that improves the acoustics within rooms by utilizing sound-absorptive materials. Draper’s EchoControl will debut at InfoComm 2017, June 14 – 16 in Orlando.
Sound-absorptive methods are already used to improve a room’s acoustics, but with Draper’s EchoControl, sound reverberating off windows now can be reduced. EchoControl fabric offers a unique combination of acoustic and lighting control and comfort. Available on both motorized and manual shades, the EchoControl has a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.60.
In addition to their sound-absorption properties, EchoControl’s window shades diffuse light, reduce glare, control solar heat gain, and reduce fading of interior furnishings. They are GREENGUARD GOLD certified so there’s no off-gassing, and they are infused with Microban® antimicrobial product protection.
