Revolabs FLX(TM) Wireless Conference Phone Now Available in Japan
Posted on Monday, May 27, 2013
SUDBURY, Mass. -- May 27, 2013 -- Revolabs Inc. today announced that its Revolabs FLX(TM) wireless conference phone is now available in Japan via the company's official distributor, Media Plus. Designed for conference rooms, executive offices, and small office/home office (SoHo) settings, FLX brings Revolabs' renowned large-room wireless audio performance to smaller spaces at an incredibly low price.

"As the demand for FLX continues to grow across the globe, we are pleased to bring our game-changing conference phone to the Japanese market," said Marc Cremer, COO at Revolabs. "By incorporating wireless operation, 128-bit encryption, and Bluetooth integration, conference rooms are able to gain exceptional audio performance and flexibility at an affordable price. This will open new opportunities for enterprises in Japan wishing to meet their unified communications needs with an elegant, easy-to-use solution that can be adapted to any office, boardroom, or conference setting."

Revolabs' FLX conference phone combines wireless operation with high-quality wideband audio, 128-bit encryption, and Bluetooth(R) integration. Unlike commonplace single-component designs, the systems consist of several distinct components, giving users unprecedented freedom with respect to placement and accessibility of the speaker, microphones, and dial pad. With a dialer that operates like a telephone for handset calls, the FLX eliminates the need for a separate desk and conference phone. The FLX is also available with a variety of Revolabs microphones, including lapel, omnidirectional, and directional tabletop versions.

Available in analog or VoIP interfaces, the Revolabs FLX is also the first and only wireless conference phone designed for VoIP networks. The solution integrates directly with most IP telephone switches following the SIP standard, enabling new features only available through digital switch environments such as voicemail alerts and do not disturb. An ideal unified communication technology, FLX can serve as an audio interface for virtually any major brand of video conferencing equipment.
