Revolabs to Present 'Next-Generation Wireless Audio Conferencing Technology' at InfoComm India 2013
Posted on Wednesday, August 28, 2013
SUDBURY, Mass. -- Aug. 28, 2013 -- Revolabs today announced that PS Tiwari, the company's technical manager for India and the Middle East, will deliver an educational session titled "Next-Generation Wireless Audio Conferencing Technology" at InfoComm India 2013. As part of the InfoComm University courses being offered at the show, the presentation will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Room D at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.

In his presentation, Tiwari will outline the basic requirements and building blocks of audio conferencing systems. He will identify and explore the five major challenges in traditional wired audio conferencing systems, including audio intelligibility, poor signal-to-noise ratio, and acoustical and aesthetical challenges. Tiwari will discuss tools available for gauging the level of these issues, and how they can be resolved using next-generation wireless audio conferencing technology. The presentation will conclude with a discussion on how wireless solutions should be designed and deployed for more stable performance.

"Of the five major audio conferencing challenges that I will be covering, one in particular stands out for its complexity: room acoustics," said Tiwari. "Room acoustics play a major role in the proper selection and placement of audio components, helping integrators provide effective installations and the best possible audio to their clients. We will explore the major acoustic parameters and how they relate to the placement of audio peripherals."

"We are very pleased to have an expert like PS on our team to share his extensive industry experience and knowledge of wireless audio conferencing technology," said Marc Cremer, COO of Revolabs. "Attendees will leave his session with a better understanding of how wireless systems can solve the challenges posed by traditional wired solutions, and how they can use this technology to bring a better conference experience to their clients."

An expert in audio conferencing system design and implementation, Tiwari has 14 years of experience in A/V and IT technology, and has conducted several technical trainings and seminars for A/V engineers. He holds a master's degree in electronics, a PG diploma in electronics, and has received numerous conferencing certifications.

Revolabs also will be exhibiting at InfoComm India in stand C22. More information about the event is available at https://infocomm-india.com.
